Sarnia Baseball Club U12

My second baseball photoshoot in the past week and it was a great one for both teams. Sarnia came out swinging and got up to the early lead. The Tigers fought back and had a big inning in the 5th to edge out a lead. Sarnia had the last at bats and needed 4 runs to win it. The boys came out swinging and got some runners on base. Then another base hit and the game is hanging by a thread. Sarnia gets the bases loaded, 2 outs and just need a single or walk to keep it alive. He takes a cut.. hit well to the gap in left but out of nowhere the Tigers third baseman leaps and catches the hard hit ball. Game over!

The boys had such a great effort coming back after giving up the lead to give themselves a chance to win the game. Good teams put themselves in a position to have success and that’s what these boys did. I wasn’t able to stay so I’m not to sure how game 2 of the doubleheader went.
